Keep Going Is The Only Way

Last weekend my friends and I went hiking to an almost unknown waterfall to many. I heard about the waterfall from some of my students. They told me that it is a beautiful waterfall and only takes an hour hike from the village down the mountain.  In that waterfall, we can jump from the big rock and swim in the fresh water or slide down the rock. The excitement of enjoying the waterfall caught my wild side, so I brought up the idea to some friends and they took it with great excitement. Shortly, we, a group of fearless girls left the town to the waterfall with one guy who volunteered himself as a guardian angel and he is a good one.

We set our mind to the great adventure we would experience that day and never thought that the walk to the waterfall was rough and challenging. Along the way up to the waterfall, we enjoyed the the fresh air and the beauty of God's creation.

After about an hour driving, finally we got to our friend's house and she wanted us to park the car in front of her house that is far down the village. She thought we can't drive the car up to the village, but in the middle of the road we found out that the road is good enough for a car to pass. So, we sent our guardian angel to pick up the car. While we were stopping to wipe our running sweat, we saw this little fella. I think it is pretty cute.
Seem the car took time to get to where we were, so we kept going up the village and had little chit chat with people there before  we continue our walk. Then, the real adventure started. We passed some houses and down to small path uphill.
We were exhausted and the waterfall still out of sight and desperation stared creeping and started to consume our excitement. The path is going up and up and up the mountain. Many of us almost give up. Me? Dying! Giving up means all the work hard in vain and keep going is the only way. And it is worth it!
The trail brought us to this small river that boosted our dying spirit.
  And finally
THE WATERFALL!
The water is so fresh. The hard work paid off.
Now the trails are becoming familiar and I really enjoyed our way down the mountain. It is like our life. So many times in our life, we are so excited about a new challenge that down our way and we give it a shot. We set our mind to the goal and dream about the victory, but as we walk it, trial after trial color the process and by times the goal becomes blur as we give room to doubt and worry mess up our determination. But as we keep walking and believing no matter how hard the road is, it will come to an end with victory. So do not give up on anything you are fighting for.
